MarkL![]() | Subject: What is wrong? You say all params are at zero. I´m guessing you mean ammonia, nitrites and nitrates. How old are the reagents in the test kit? are they reliable, test other water OK? What about pH? Hardness? Any recent major water exchanges? (old out, new in) Is the temperature stable? |

host![]() | Subject: What is wrong? I don´t know what´s wrong with one of my tanks. The params are all at zero. I have lost all of my Juhlii corys one by one over the past 3 months and this morning I found one of my harlequins dead. They all act fine. The dead corys look perfectly healthy when I pulled them out. When I pulled the Harley out this morning it kind of burst in the tongs and a bunch of brown goo came out. (poo?) A couple of the females have looked a bit large in the belly, and I just assumed egg laden. (They do a pretty little dance for the males, who of course ignore them.) Any ideas what could be going on? How do I treat the tank; what for? |
